SUPPORT FOR THE H2STUDENT PROGRAM IS GROWING
The H2Student programme is a newly emerging and fast growing platform for everyone - professionals in the field of hydrogen as well as non-professionals. Is the program/a platform that combines the "supply of knowledge" about hydrogen with the "demand for new knowledge" from anyone, who wants to learn more about hydrogen in general or even develop new competencies.
Today it is not enough if new technologies are introduced at the system level, be it at the level of the organization or the state, according to the Top Down principle, but it is necessary to develop competences in parallel and they are also acquired through education. This definitely results in faster adoption of new technologies, when it comes to the Bottom up principle. And it is a winning combination.
The goal of the H2Student programme is exactly this - education, building competencies, raising awareness of climate change and that we as individuals / organizations can make a great contribution to a better tomorrow. Even with knowledge of alternative, cleaner technologies and their application in practice.
We get more support every day, which confirms, that we are on the right track. One of those who supports us, is Professor Tariq Muneer BEng (Hons) MSc, PhD, CEng, FCIBSE, Millennium Fellow, Professor of Energy Engineering at Napier University, Edinburgh, who currently chairs an active group engaged in research on ‘Sustainable Energy’ that includes ‘Sustainable Transport’. Professor Muneer is an international authority on the subject of solar energy and its use in buildings with over 35 years’ experience. He is the author of over 215 technical articles, most of which have been distilled in his research monographs.
Professor Muneer is also a visiting professor for the period of 2013-2020 for the following two universities: University of Granada, Granada, Spain and University of Maribor, Faculty of logistics, Celje, Slovenia.
We are happy that prof. Muneer supports the H2Student programme!
